Barbara uses water-media or pen and ink to depict landscapes, city or country scenes, homes, barns or other buildings, floral images or pets. Active in local and national art groups, she has won awards in the Watercolor Society of Alabama. Her pen and ink drawings have won awards in the Vestavia Hills Art Shows. Her love for family, friends and children are evident in her art.
