Currently living in Birmingham AL, this fiber artist uses her talents of spinning, knitting, sewing, weaving and felting to create original designs and transform a variety of fibers into functional and decorative fiber art wearables. Each purse and tote is one-of-a kind hand knitted using handspun and top quality wools and novelty yarns. The original designed felted fabric shapes are fixed through the process of machine fulling. Additional wool fibers are needle felted to create original art designs on some of the purses. Custom fitted linings and security snaps are added. Handles are knitted, woven, or hand painted wood. Her work has shown in galleries, juried shows and fine art exhibits.
